We had an eventful year full of fun and lots of new 'firsts'.
First bike with pedals, first time skiing, first horseback ride, first trip to NYC.....
As a lot of you know, Gus is a talkative, funny, smart and very sweet little boy. He lights up the room and loves music so much-he is ready to sing and/or dance at a moment's notice.
I started to update the blog with a few images and ended up including an egregious amount of photos and videos of this year's highlights. There are posted here in no particular order. It might be a bit much to check it out all at once, but then, you have a scroll button.....
I also wanted to share one of my favorite stories of this past year. It took place during our visit to the local Hibernian Hall on St. Patrick's Day.
We went to meet up with our good friends the Lynch family to have a couple Guinness and let the kids dance their hearts out. In the middle of an especially lively song, a very drunk 55-60 year old man blindly jigged his way into a very large speaker, knocking it over and of course stopping the show. Thankfully no one was hurt, save the drunken man's pride.

Thankfully no one was hurt, save the drunken man's pride.
While others scrambled to gather up the speaker and get things going again, this man remained seated on the floor with his hand over his face, shaking his head at himself.
Not a single soul concerned themselves with the man on the ground. A few minutes later, I watched as our 3 year old walked over to this man, put his hand on the man's shoulder, patted him on the back and told him it would be 'ok'.
Turns out our guy was the nicest guy in the place.
